| “We have been told so often
that violence is not the solution to everything, that we have come
to believe that it is not the solution to anything.” Profound
words—giving us pause to wonder how many of those who cry
out for negotiation with bullies have ever spent a night in a foxhole
with incoming; or been mugged and beaten in a dark parking lot;
or raped in a deserted park. The truth of the matter is that there
are times when nothing short of meeting violent response to violent
attack will suffice.
And so it is that we publish S.W.A.T. for those
stalwart individuals who are willing to take responsibility for
their own security. From gear, to firearms, to training, you can
count on S.W.A.T. to inform you about what works
and why—and what doesn’t. We take our responsibility
for truthful review very seriously....because we know no other way.
Sitting in a mahogany-paneled den dreaming up tactics to name after
one’s self is fine—as long as you never have to leave
the house. Once on the street, however, things have a way of turning
nasty in a hurry. By reading S.W.A.T. you can stay
ahead of the game. For us, that's what it's all about.
